We're preparing to open safely.
In the meantime, we're still taking and filling orders via this website for new books or Biblio for used and rare books. At this time we can offer curbside pick-up or shipping services only.
We are unable to consider used book offers until after we re-open to the public.
Utah Justice League & Their Story is Our Story
A conversation and Q & A with author and humanitarian Melissa Dalton-Bradford – a founder of Their Story is Our Story, a nonprofit which tells the stories of refugees- and Utah attorney Jim McConkie, who founded the Utah Justice League.
The Utah Justice League, is a group of Utah attorneys who provide refugees with picture ID's, free legal aid and protection from immigrant discrimination. Jim will talk about their important work protecting the rights of new refugees in our community.
Their Story is Our Story’s mission is to collect, photograph and film first-hand refugee stories from around the world, some of which were curated and lovingly compiled for the book, Let Me Tell You My Story. Proceeds from the sale of Let Me Tell You My Story will fund awareness for refugees worldwide.
“As humans, we bond on our broken edges. We gathered these inspiring accounts of tragedy and survival, hope and courage during our team trips to camps and the streets in Greece, Italy, France, Germany, Bangladesh and the borders of Arizona, among other places." - Melissa Dalton-Bradford
Their Story is Our Story is an organization seeks to transform the perception and reception of refugees and build stronger more inclusive communities through art, stories and grassroots events.
Over the course of two years, a group of award-winning photographers, filmmakers, painters, and writers trailed and documented the flood of refugees pouring into the West from the Middle East and Africa, recording the refugees’ firsthand accounts of who they are and what made them refugees.
