Utah Justice League & Their Story is Our Story

Utah Justice League & Their Story is Our Story-- Book Signing and a Conversation with Jim McConkie and Melissa Dalton-Bradford. This event features a league of Utah lawyers who are helping refugees pro-bono and a nonprofit working to reshape the public's perception of refugees, one story at a time. At Weller Book Works on Sept 7 from 4 to 7 p.m.
 

A conversation and Q & A with author and humanitarian Melissa Dalton-Bradford – a founder of Their Story is Our Story, a nonprofit which tells the stories of refugees- and Utah attorney Jim McConkie, who founded the Utah Justice League.

The Utah Justice League, is a group of Utah attorneys who provide refugees with picture ID's, free legal aid and protection from immigrant discrimination.  Jim will talk about their important work protecting the rights of new refugees in our community.

Their Story is Our Story’s mission is to collect, photograph and film first-hand refugee stories from around the world, some of which were curated and lovingly compiled for the book, Let Me Tell You My Story. Proceeds from the sale of Let Me Tell You My Story will fund awareness for refugees worldwide.
