About the Books
Liam Lewis and the Summer Camp Curse, by Brandon Greer
Thirteen-year-old Liam Lewis is a troublemaker. When he gets detention on the last day of sixth grade, his parents decide to put a stop to his mischief by signing him up for a three-week-long behavioral summer camp that is said to have a 100 percent success rate in rehabilitating kids like him. If anyone asked Liam, he'd say it sounded more like brainwashing. Too bad no one asked. Furious about this unfair decision, Liam is determined to withstand whatever mind tricks the camp could throw at him. After arriving at the camp, however, he realizes that things aren't as bad as he expected. No, they are much, much worse. First, the camp director claims to be a wizard. Second, the camp isn't even on Earth. Third, the only way for Liam and the three other campers to get back home is by recovering a stolen gem and stopping a curse from destroying the world. Facing a treacherous landscape, dangerous beasts, and-worst of all-the frustrations of teenage cooperation, Liam must race against time to find the gem and return home before this three-week camp becomes permanent.

Out of Time, by Elizabeth Drysdale
OUT OF TIME is a young adult fantasy that chronicles a young girl questioning her strength, her motivations, and what it means to love. Soph, a third-generation witch, only has one magical gift to her name and her family needs her to use it to break a curse. Her gift is the ability to travel through time. The problem is that she's not accurate. The thought of traveling back in time hundreds of years scares her to death, but death is what she faces if she doesn't succeed. Coerced into attempting what Soph thinks is impossible, the young witch learns that she must save the life of the son of the man who cursed her family. It's the only way the curse can be broken and her family spared from their fate. But jumping through time isn't all it's cracked up to be. Surviving a shipwreck and being accused of witchcraft in seventeenth century New England complicates things for Soph. If she can't save the man she's looking for in time she, risks getting stuck in the past. Success for Soph will mean breaking the curse and freeing her family to find true love, while failure offers only death, and not just for her.
About the Authors
Brandon J Greer is second and third oldest in a family of ten. (He was second oldest until a new marriage brought a new child that bumped him to third.) To set himself apart from so many siblings, he discovered the arts. Drawing, acting, and writing pulled him in at a young age. His first book, Around the World in About a Year, was completed in the sixth grade and was complete garbage but it won him a place in an arts competition at the local university. Now living in northern Utah with his wife and daughter, he travels as much as he can.
Elizabeth A. Drysdale won her first writing award at the age of seven and has followed it up with more awards, including 1st Honorable Mention in the category of YA First Chapters in the Quills League of Utah Writers Competition. Elizabeth is an active member of the League of Utah Writers and an advocate for NaNoWriMo. She spent much of her childhood roaming through woods and climbing trees creating adventures to be someone else in. These childhood daydreams often find their way into her many novels, although with much more finesse and a lot less hanging upside down. After graduating from Excelsior College, she’s kept her nose in a book, either writing or reading, ever since. Elizabeth has a love of travel which often inspires her heroines to end up in places very different from where they started. Originally from the back woods of Massachusetts, she lives in a small town in Northern Utah with her husband, three sons, one dog, and eight chickens. Each day is filled with noise, more than a little dirt, and enough chaos to fill a hundred pages.
